Sr. Manager / Manager, Production

Job Responsibilities:  |
- Oversee the overall production process and ensure product delivery as per target.
- Maintain administrative matters of the production department.
- Identify training needs, develop training plans and their execution.
- Implement and maintain good manufacturing practices at shop floor.
- Lead and implement production-relevant cost savings initiatives, process simplification, continuous improvement projects, etc.
- Oversee, monitor, and coordinate production floor equipment maintenance.
- Develop and monitor KPIs for the production department i.e., output rates, customer delivery performance, machine utilization, labor utilization, absenteeism, working hours without lost time injuries, and standard to actual cost performance, etc.
- Motivate, engage, support and provide guidance to production supervisors and staff.
Production related reporting.
- Improve production methods to maximize yields/quality/HSE standards.
- Establish continuous improvement culture, review product and process failure, and execute continuous improvement activities.

We Require:
- B.Sc & M.Sc in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering from any reputed university.
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in relevant fields (preferred in MNCs).
- Excellent knowledge in production management, production process optimization, and good manufacturing practices.
- Proficient in Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Problem-solving tools.
- Skilful in data compilation, analysis, interpretation, report formation, early warning management, and presentations.
- Strong people management skills.
