Job Responsibilities

• Implement procedures as required by factory safety policies after soliciting input from managers and other employees
• Alerts employees about policy or procedure changes and monitors compliance
• Monitors workplace activities to ensure that workers comply with factory policies and procedures and government safety regulations
• Ensure health and safety documents are reviewed and updated as appropriate
• Plan and conduct on-site biological and chemical safety and hazardous waste disposal training to educate faculty and staff
• Perform building safety audits and correction documentation
• Inspect labs and lab equipment to ensure that equipment is in good working condition and free of hazards
• Assist with inspection of emergency evacuation route signage, as needed
• Identifying potential risks and making recommendations to management of potential strategies to avoid or mitigate the risk
• Periodically check all the fire preventing/fighting equipment and ensure those are up to date and working properly
• Regularly arrange fire drill with fire marshals and first aid training for first aiders
• Ensure all employees using proper PPE for their day to day work in the factory
• Prepare monthly health, safety and compliance activity report.
