GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION:

You will contribute to Action Against Hunger scaling up strategy by assisting Bangladesh mission in their development:
- overall leadership management of the entire consortiums as well as administrative, financial, implementation, reporting and, technical oversight;
- ensure risk-sensitive, pro-active support provision to the project and completion of activities and objectives as designed and agreed with the donor;
- work closely with consortium partners, you will represent the consortium to all relevant stakeholders, including the project steering committee responsible ensuring coordination and information-sharing mechanisms are in place with relevant government, community, cluster, INGO stakeholders and donors;
- by closely following and guide operational aspects of project – development of detail plan of action, timely implementation of the activities with budgetary follow-up, documentation and reporting (progress report, interim and final report);
- facilitate a process for common understanding of project tools (LFA, project narrative and budget) to make sure that project activities is implemented timely and donors guideline is respected throughout the project cycle.
- Strategically drive the implementation of Consortium project insuring that the working approach remains relevant to the changing context and that projects are implemented according to contractual obligations and best practices;
- Represent Consortium and strengthen local network at country level, promote positive relationships with key stakeholders, ensure documentation of the consortium activities, including formal presentations, development on success stories, updating project-specific fact sheets, and documenting publications featuring the consortium in the media;
- Ensure an adequate support on MEAL, Communication and HR capacity building;
- Ensure the administrative and financial follow-up of the Consortium project; Ensure that donor rules and procedures are understood and respected by all parties, sharing information and conducting training if required on proposed systems and processes for consortium management;
- Ensure systems are in place to promote audit compliance and good stewardship;
- Support consortium members on gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity.

- You hold Master degree in Socio-economic, Rural development, International development
- You have carried out specific studies in humanitarian aid and/or development
- You have minimum 5 years of proven work experience in managing multi-sector projects in INGO and minimum 2 years of proven work experience Consortium Manager/ Coordinator;
- You have hands-on experience on coordination with other international actors, Donors, Technical Working Groups and Clusters (i.e. UN agencies, INGOs, local authorities);
- You have working experience in collaboration with international and national multi-cultural team;
- You have experience with evaluations and monitoring as well as Program Cycle Management;
- You have experience and strong proposal writing and donor reporting skills;
- You have experience in financial management and preparation of budgets for programming;
- You are experienced, mature, responsible, flexible, self-motivated, interested, and good stress management in tense and difficult environment;
- You have good managerial, operational and humanitarian leadership skills and excellent communication, presentation and coordination skills;
- You have professional level in writing and speaking ENGLISH.
- Gross monthly Salary from 187’000 to 214’043 BDT upon experience;
- Festival Bonus: 1 month Gross salary every year;
- Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary;
- Performance Bonus: from 30 % to 80% of monthly Gross salary per year vary from performants;
- End of Contract Benefits - up to 2 months' Gross salary.
- Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year).
- 18 days of paid annual leaves per year;
- 10 days of paid casual leaves per year;
- 14 days of paid sick leaves per year.
- Free and unlimited access to the certifying e-learning platform Crossknowledge;
- Technical trainings at HQ Paris or regional level (averagely 1 per year);
