  Position: Senior Manager/ Assistant General Manager, Quality Control

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create a strategic plan to reduce quality defect issues during the production process of the producers
  • Develop and implement the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) / quality guidelines for the process and ensure quality as per standard
  • Review quality control processes, procedures and capabilities in order to sustain the most cost effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements and make recommendation for improvement as appropriate
  • Ensure guidance during product development process for customers' satisfaction
  • Develop and analyze data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product
  • Monitor and collect customers satisfaction and feedback regarding product quality for further improvement
  • Provide the feedback to the respective producers regarding the findings related to quality
  • Train and develop the quality control staff to enhance their capacity, productivity and quality by demonstrating strong leadership.

Safeguarding Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
  Qualifications:  

Education:

  • A Graduate (preferably BSc in Apparel/Textile) from any reputed university

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 Years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Should have experience in the following area(s): Quality Control/Assurance, Quality Inspection (AQL Standards), Compliance and Factory Capacity audits
  • In-depth knowledge of textile and garments production process and planning
  • Expertise in Quality Assurance (In Process and Finish Quality), 1SO-9000, QMS, TQM Knowledge etc.
  • Understanding of Fabrics inspection, 4-point system and 100% inspection, Pattern & Cutting knowledge, JC-Penney QC system, Traffic light system, Printing/ Embroidery/ Dyeing knowledge and Lab tests knowledge, etc.
  • Strong analytical and strategic ability with people management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good planning, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
