Vendor Enlistment Process 2025
1. About Welthungerhilfe
Welthungerhilfe was established in 1962. It is today one of the largest private organizations working in development cooperation and humanitarian aid in Germany. Non-profit-seeking, non-partisan and non-denominational. Donations from the population largely fund our work in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. In addition, Welthungerhilfe receives grants from the Federal German Government, the European Union, USAID/OFDA, the United Nations and many others worldwide recognized donors.
In Bangladesh, WHH has operated independently since obtaining NGOAB registration in 2021, building on over 25 years of engagement.
2. Participation
This vendor enlistment process is open to eligible and qualified suppliers, service providers, consultants, consulting firms, or contractors legally registered in Bangladesh.

- Submission Deadline: 25th January 2025, 23:59 BD Time.
- Inquiry Deadline: 22nd January 2025, 16:00 BD Time.
3. Scope of the vendor enlistment Categories
WHH invites applications across diverse categories, offering opportunities for enlistment in goods supply, service provision, consultancy, and construction work. Eligible vendors should apply for categories aligning with their expertise.

4. Application Process, Deadline and Clarifications
Submission Deadline: 25th January 2025, 23:59 BD Time.

Timeline for the Enlistment: The enlistment of selected applicants and the notification of unsuccessful applicants must be completed no later than 28 February 2025.
WHH reserves the right to reject any application without explanation.
5. Selection Criteria
To proceed, applications must fulfill the following requirements:
- Supplier Declaration Form (Annex I).
- Written application specifying preferred categories (max. 3).
- Proof of company registration.
- National ID Card (NID) of the owner.
- Tax Identification Number (TIN) Certificate.
- Tax Certificate (2024-2025).
- Business Identification Number (BIN).
- Bank certificate with account details.
- At least one reference from an organization (preferably NGOs) with proof of past experience.
6. Terms and Conditions
- Applicants can apply for up to three (3) categories.
- No fees are required for the enlistment process.
- WHH may inspect vendor premises during the process.
- Enlisted vendors may be invited for tenders, RFQs, and other procurement opportunities.
- Repeated non-participation in bids may lead to removal from the list.
7. Language
- All correspondence and documents must be in English.
