Job Context
- The position requires extensive travel both in and outside of Dhaka, Chittagong, Narayanganj, Munshiganj, Gazipur, Mymensingh and Industrial areas in various places within the country.
- Manufacturing units/sectors may include oil and gas, power, chemical / petrochemical, construction, automotive and industrial manufacturing.
- Materials tested and examined may include metallic and alloy, plastic, polymer, composite and other materials for industrial applications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Offer inspection and testing services for manufacturers and operators of industrial plants, and operation of industrial assets and installations with focus on non-regulated markets.
- Offers field services as well as laboratory service in mechanical integrity assessment through the provision of non-destructive testing (NDT), destructive (laboratory) testing and chemical analysis of industrial materials, as well as material related expert services and consultancy.
- Technical Inspector needs to deal with the regulatory and maintenance requirements for the clients organization's products. Keep a meticulous eye for any product defect or issue.
- Utilize technical know-how & technical expertise to improve the organization's testing methods while strictly observing and following the given guidelines.
- To be familiar with the proper methods to repair and refurnish equipment, utilizing the required tools and instruments to complete proper inspections.
- To promptly respond to customer’s requests and report the results of inspections in a timely manner. The preparation of neat and accurate paperwork, adherence to customer requirements in conformity with company inspection procedures.
Employment Status
Contractual, 10-12 months which can be extended based on industry progress
Educational & other Requirements
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Mechanical Engineering Graduate with 10-12 years of experience in Industrial Technical Inspection like machinery &/or equipment.
- Should be from TIC background (Industrial Services).
- Sound market knowledge is preferable.
- Should be able to handle marketing as well as operations to initiate Industrial Services business in Bangladesh.
