In Bangladesh, Swisscontact carries out the Building Skills for Unemployed and Underemployed Labour (B-SkillFUL) Programme - Phase II. B-SkillFUL Phase II is a skills and enterprise development programme, funded by the Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh and implemented by Swisscontact. It contributes to bring about a more equitable society that enjoys inclusive and sustainable growth, aligned with the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations.
B-SkillFUL Phase II is a programme that aims to improve the productivity and competitiveness of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and to increase opportunities for women and men to work in safer and more sustainable conditions.
The programme helps SMEs increase cost-effectiveness and recover from the economic adversities of COVID-19. By cooperating with Business Development Service (BDS) providers and Workplace-Based Training (WBT) providers, the programme offers advice and training for SMEs to develop expertise in both technical and managerial fields.
The programme cooperates with SMEs in the light engineering, furniture and leather goods sectors.
B-SkillFUL Phase II is looking for reputed and qualified WBT providers (organisation) to implement WBT activities under programme.
Activity start: July 2021
Activity end: April 2024
Programme locations: Bogura, Dhaka (Saver, Hazaribagh), Gazipur, Kishoregonj (Bhairab), Nilphamari (Saidpur) and Rangpur.

The WBT Provider (organisation) should submit the following documents:
- Main proposal document
- Registration related documnent (trade licence, registration with any government entities)
- TIN and VAT certificate (as applicable)
- A signed statement testifying that all information
- contained within the proposal is correct and true.
Hard copy and soft copies of the propsal(s) must be submitted to the following email address:

For soft copy: “bd.bskillful@swisscontact.org” and for hard copy: House # 28, Road # 43, Gulshan-2, Dhaka-1212, by 7 August 2021. No late submission will be accepted.
Note: Please mention “Engage WBT Provider” on the top of the envelop and email subject line.
Technical proposal and Financial Proposal should be submitted in separate envelops (both hard copy and soft copies should be submitted).
B-SkillFUL programme reserves the right to accept or reject any of all proposal without assigning any reason whatsoever. Please note that if any application does not meet all the above eligibility criteria, the application will be disqualified without further evaluation. |
