We are looking for an Experienced Production Manager for Biscuit Cookies Plant & Chocolate to drive continuous improvement and optimization of all processes

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the hiring and training food production.
  
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment to ensure smooth work operations
  
• Develop and promote new food products to boost sales and increase generated returns
  
• Set production objectives and implement action plans for achieving set targets
  
• Preparation of SOPs & Production flow chart.
  
• Set daily/weekly/monthly production target and achieve the target ensuring the quality standard.
  
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules as per requirements.
  
• Oversee the entire production process and ensuring maximum production with minimum cost.
  
• Follow up the hourly production rate and managing the employees involved.
  
• Reduce wastage of resources, minimize cost of production & improve efficiency of production.
  
• Coordinate with the Sales & Marketing, International Marketing, Accounts & Finance, Product Development, Quality Control & Supply Chain Management to solve product related complications as and when required.
• Check overall costing, consumption rate and ensure inventory control.
• Generate different reports on raw materials, finished goods and production proceedings.
• Check production output according to specifications and pass for the delivery as per the schedules.
  
• Communicate with management ASAP in case of any emergency in the plant/factory.
  
• Oversee the hiring and training food production.
• Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.
  
• Develop and promote new food products to boost sales and increase generated returns
  
• Set production objectives and implement action plans for achieving set targets.
  
• Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and processed food products
  
• Ensure products and raw materials are stored properly at optimum conditions
  
• Planning and organising production schedules
  
• Assessing project and resource requirements
  
• Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
  
• Determining quality control standards.
  
• Overseeing production processes
  
• Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
  
• Liaising with buyers and marketing and sales staff
  
• Organising relevant training sessions.
  
• Any additional responsibilities as per the work requirement of the department time to time.

Educational Qualification:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Nutrition Science & Food Engineering/Food Technology from any reputed university

Experience:

• Minimum 12 years of experience in a reputed company and Minimum 5 years as a production manager.
