Kumudini Welfare Trust of Bengal (BD) Ltd. was one of the oldest and largest development organizations in Bangladesh. The Group main focus on development of health and education sectors. The concern of this Group includes Kumudini Hospital, Kumudini Women’s Medical College, Dental College, Nursing School and Nursing College, Bharateswari Homes and RP Shah University. The funds required for running the above welfare activities are obtained from the income generating units of the Trust like jute press and warehouse, pharmaceuticals, river transportation, handicrafts etc.

The Group looking for a Head of HR Operations to oversee all personnel-related matters and ensure the organization uses its resources beneficially.

Head of HR Operations responsibilities include designing budgets, applying company policies and managing internal HR systems. To be successful in this role, the person should have extensive HR experience in senior roles and good knowledge of Human Resources Management.

Ultimately, the person will ensure our HR department operates efficiently and aligns with our business objectives.

Position: Head of HR


  • Developing and administering full extent of Core HR functions which includes strategic HRM, manpower planning, talent acquisition, performance management, training & development, and compensation & benefits aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Ensure efficient talent acquisition by recruiting right people for right position.
  • Monitoring attendance & leave to ensure employee punctuality.
  • Implement HRMS software to manage all HR activities.
  • Ensure all the HR data are stored in HRMS software including employee data base, recruitment related data, appraisal data.
  • Develop, frame & implement HR policies, approaches & procedures.
  • Ensure proper training need assessment; implement training & development programs & overseeing the development of employee career path.
  • Developing & implementing KPI based performance management system in the organization.
  • Leading the team of HR, providing coaching, mentoring and be an inspirational leader to support all relevant core HR functions for the company.
  • Ensuring succession management, induction, probation & talent management.
  • Prepare annual HR budget & manage HR activity ensuring costs are with HR budget.
  • Motivating & counseling employees to keep updated their skill by certification; resolving grievances or queries of the employees in professional manner.
  • Research, develop & implement employee benefit plans & packages.
  • Always communicate & update higher management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in HRM / Honours degree
  • MBA/ Masters in HRM/ PGD in HRM from reputed local or international university.

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 45 years
  • At least 5 years job experience in HR department in a Group of Companies of which at least 2 years in managerial position.
  • Must have talent acquisition skill.
  • Must possess persuasive communication skill.

Job Location: Dhaka. Should have willingness to visit Mirzapur (Tangail) and Narayanganj as per need of the position.
