Job Purpose: The incumbent will work under the Project Manager- HGSP as part of a very dynamic management team to implement Health and Gender Support Project, funded by the World Bank through UNFPA at Cox’s Bazar.

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Collect, validate, and maintain data related to SRHR/FP and HGBV services in the project intervention facilities.
  • Upload data into the COBO Toolbox application of HGSP/UNFPA as per design and schedule.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making.
  • Generate reports and visualizations to communicate data findings to project stakeholders.
  • Manage databases and information systems used for data storage and retrieval.
  • Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and data validation procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to information systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), for data collection and management processes.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for project updates, including progress reports and performance metrics.
  • Track program monitoring data, project indicators and milestones and update project management and staffs regarding the progress accordingly.
  • Support project team to use data for decision making for further programming.
  • Collaborate with project teams to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices related to information management.
  • Provide training and support to project staff on data collection and management procedures.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of project data.
  • Monitor data collection processes to identify and address potential issues proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational data management policies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and research partners, to exchange data and insights.

Compliance

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

Safeguarding/ PSEA

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Special Assignment
Carry out any other tasks assigned by the supervisor and senior management team.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's /Master’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, URP, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in development/humanitarian field or any other relevant organization

Key competencies:

Skills:

  • Skills with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software.
  • Familiarity with SPSS, Power Bi, SQL software

Competencies:

  • Excellent inter-personnel skills and ability to work in team environment.
  • Be willing to take on extra responsibilities in order to achieve the goals/objectives set by the organization.

Monthly Gross Salary (minimum-Maximum):

  • 40,000 - 60,000 BDT
