Technical & Desk Support Specialist

Job Context:

  • We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Remote Desk Support Assistant to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to overseas clients and performing data entry tasks in QuickBooks.
  • This role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in managing both technical and administrative tasks efficiently. We are looking for a high-level representative who has previously served foreign customers (in English) and possesses at least 2–3 years of relevant experience.
  • As we operate on a roster-based schedule, the candidate must have the ability to work during agreed hours, which may require overlap with international time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Technical Support:

  • While our team will provide training for the technical aspects, the candidate must be a quick learner and able to adapt rapidly.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, or phone in a timely and professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues reported by customers.
  • Walking through basic product functions with customers.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed records of support requests, actions taken, and resolutions provided.
  • Guide customers through product setup, usage, and troubleshooting steps.

AS a QuickBooks Data Entry & Administrative Tasks:

  • Accurately input financial and transactional data into QuickBooks.
  • Maintain and update customer records, invoices, and payment details.
  • Reconcile data and identify any discrepancies for resolution.
  • Generate financial or operational reports from QuickBooks when required.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting & Information System
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance & Banking
  • Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science
  • [East West University, North South University, BRAC University, American International University Bangladesh, Independent University, Bangladesh] students will get preference.

Skills Required: Customer Support/ Client Service, IELTS, SAP, Odoo, Accounting and Finance, ERP Software, Quickbooks, xero, Hubspot, Remote Desktop Service

Experience Requirements

  • At least 2 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    • Security Service

Additional Requirements

  • Age 24 to 40 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply

Technical Skills:

  • QuickBooks Online or Xero Accounting.
  • Microsoft Excel (Advanced) & Google Workspace.
  • Zendesk, Freshdesk, or similar ticketing systems.
  • ERP systems (SAP, Odoo).
  • Basic knowledge of IT troubleshooting and customer support tools.
  • Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software (preferred).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication in English.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Job Location

  • Dhaka (Uttara Sector 9)

Salary

  • Tk. 30000 - 60000 (Monthly)
