We are looking for a Software Engineer (Database and ETL) to be responsible for the Integrate multiple data-sources to build data marts for custom dashboarding solution for client specific needs that will be useful for advanced analytics solutions.
Job Description / Responsibility
- Database design and architecture, data analysis, data modeling, data solutioning
- ETL process management, ETL testing, Data pipeline (ETL tools) development & Implantation
- Interpreting data requirements from business processes
- Designing conceptual, logical and physical data models with corresponding metadata
- Implementing necessary database tables to support application development
- Maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting existing databases
- Reverse engineering databases
- Outline the ETL process, setting the borders of data processing
- Driving best practices to guide development teams on database programming

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg), Master of Science (MSc)
- B.Sc / BE / B. Tech / M.Sc / MCA / M. Tech in CS / IT (equivalent)

Additional Requirements
- 3 - 4 years of experience working on databases and data-centric applications
- Involved in automation of data-loads with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for 6+ months
- Expert in implementing Data warehousing concepts
- Ability to translate business requirement to technical design and be able to design database objects which are scalable and flexible for change
- Expertise in building stored procedures, functions, addressing performance issues etc.
- Good understanding of data-modeling concepts
- Fast adoption of new tools and techniques
- Understanding issues and able to dig into the applications to identify the root cause and provide the solutions
- Work with service & support team to resolve escalated operational issues
- Experience on visualization tools such as PowerBI/Micro-strategy
- Willing to learn other technologies and support new line of implementation
- Good problem-solving skills and technical expertise
- Standard verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure to maintain deadlines
