Position |

Programme Manager, Health Nutrition and Population Programme (Contractual)
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Provide management and technical support for project implementation and coordination with donor
- Develop plans and implementation strategies and ensuring deliverables are provided in line with the work plan
- Provide supportive supervision and facilitate field activities with the help of the field team for achieving programme targets
- Prepare project proposals and concept notes to raise funds
- Prepare/ revise project budgets and track financial expenditure
- Take the lead in conducting FGD and preparing materials as per HCD guideline
- Ensure periodic refreshers and feedback sessions are conducted to keep the services person-centered, adjusting to insights gathered from quarterly learning and HCD sessions. Being dedicated to quarterly prototyping and testing different healthcare practices or behaviors, when the changes result in greater engagement and targeted outcome
- Disseminate project findings, lesson learns and best practices in national and field level meetings, seminars, conferences and workshops
- Ensure engagements in policy and advocacy representing BRAC and conducting periodic coordination meetings with relevant Government authorities in Gazipur City Corporation
- Analyze MIS and program data to provide various reports and take decision for the improvement of the program
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Requirements |
|
Educational Requirements:
MBBS with MPH from any recognised university with all first class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 3.00 in all academic examinations
Experience Requirement:
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing community health program and experience in working with HCD (Human Centered Design) will be given preference
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge on health sector of the country
- Knowledge on designing tools and research strategies
- Well conversed in MS Office package and Project Management
- Strong training & facilitation skills
- Competent on decision making and have analytical abilty
- Have people management and negotiation skill
