Position: District Manager, Skills Development (Contractual); Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Finalise and approve the list of learner, Master Crafts Person (MCP), Technical Trainer (TT), Peer
  • Coordinate Programme Organiser’s activity accomplishment as required
  • Conduct different orientation, (learners- parents, MCP and TT) Meeting (Coordination, MCP-TT linkage and Bazar committee) and communicate with different stakeholder
  • Ensure staff capacity development activities through meeting, workshop, training and assessment of the staff
  • Ensure the programme quality
  • Ensure decent workplace in informal sector (OSH, PPE, 3S,) and develop MCP as competent trainer
  • Look after financial matter such as bill, voucher, and budget and forward it to Area Manager
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s in any discipline from any recognised university/ institution

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 03 years of work experience in relevant field preferable in NGO/INGO.

  • Commitment to an understanding of BRAC core values and principles
  • Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Have effective acquaintance with people management and data entry management.
  • Willingness to live and work in difficult and rapidly changing conditions.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field
  • Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organisation
  • Have excellent knowledge on Office Applications
  • Excellent language skills both English and Bangali
