Position: General Manager (Export)

Job Responsibilities

The first and foremost job responsibility will be to create new market and find potential buyers/importers for the company in different countries. Other responsibilities will be as follows:

  • To create new opportunities in the foreign market
  • To maintain spontaneous communication with the foreign buyers
  • Export costing & profitability Analysis
  • Preparing Periodical / Annual Export Statement
  • Maintain liaison with export related trade bodies
  • Shipping line and C& F agent selection with best competitive rate
  • Analyzing sales report and preparing future sales plan
  • Production follow-up with factory
  • Handling and finalizing the Export Documentation
  • Customer relations, Transportation, Documentation, warehouse and others
  • Working closely with Production Department to ensure the best quality and packaging
  • Working with Product Development department to ensure new products, Products quality & packaging
  • Working closely with stuffing assistant to ensure the right stuffing
  • Product costing and value chain analysis
  • Managing and analyzing of inventory related data of importer
  • Focus on buyers secondary sales
  • Analysis and implement the strategies for the development of foreign market of company’s products for export
  • Liaison With: Foreign Buyers, Foreign Commission Agent, Ministry of Commerce & Industries

Mandatory Requirement(s):

  • Both Bachelors and Masters in Business Studies (Preferably Sales & Marketing ) from a reputed university
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the said department in any of the reputed FMCG company
  • Have visited more than one country to develop new market opportunities
  • Have a good relation with various importers in different countries
  • Have an excellent knowledge in pricing, analyzing and promotion
  • Should have excellent knowledge about the Online Market Promotions in various Business portals
  • Should be more than Excellent in his English proficiency
  • Ability to handle multiple deals at a time

Job Location: Chittagong

Salary: Negotiable (Depending on the Applicant’s Commitments)

Other Benefits: Two yearly bonus of 150% (combined) of the Basic and other facilities as per the company policies
