Job Description/ Responsibilities:

  • Experience working with WordPress at a PHP code level:
  • Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions
  • Creation of custom post types
  • Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform to the WordPress coding standards
  • Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code
  • Theme/Template integration
  • Knowledge of WordPress Network (Multisite) beneficial
  • Incorporating all necessary HTML and CSS into WordPress themes, templates and additional PHP and HTML pages
  • Set coding standards and help drive the strategic technical direction of our WordPress development efforts.
  • Must be expert in twitter bootstrap framework
  • Expert in PHP, MySQL, CSS3, HTML 5, JavaScript, Jquery & AJAX
  • Intermediate understanding of coding SEO-friendly sites
  • Debug and optimize the performance of existing features in WordPress
  • Resolving Cross Browser Compatibility issues.

Educational Requirements:

  • B.Sc/ Masters in EEE/ CSE/ Diploma in Web development.
  • However, educational qualification can be relaxed if the candidate has an excellent experience/ portfolio of his/ hers previous development works.

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 3 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years in WordPress Development field
  • Knowledge on open source tools.
  • Good understanding of web security and performance issues.
  • Strong Analytical and problem solving ability.
  • Understanding object oriented design pattern.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Clear Understanding in OOP.
  • Willing to re-work and revise if needed.
  • Ability to conduct research online to improve skills and implement state of the art features in to the designs.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and think out of the box to come up with creative ideas.
  • Understanding of web security and performance issues.

 Salary Range:

  • 12,000 - 15,000
