Job Description / Responsibility:

• Communicate & visit with merchandiser (buying house & factory) or procurement department or responsible person.
• Have to create new buyer.
• Time to time report to the authority.
• Achieve the target
• Merchandising in Buying house, Knowledge about Production Sewing, finishing, Washing and Dying.
• PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT-
• Study the Buyer's tech-pack in detail and proceed with the product development, considering all the minute details.
• Assisting in conceiving New Design ideas.
• SOURCING-
• Sourcing for Fabric & Trims from suppliers and negotiating prices.
• Ensure Lab dips from suppliers as per T&A and obtaining approval.
• Overseeing Fabric/Trims orders from vendors to suppliers in timely manner.
• EXECUTION-
• Preparing Shorter T&A calendars and meet time line on all aspects.
• Monitoring & motivating the merchants while executing the orders.
• PRODUCTION-
• Meet the PCD and get all Bulk fabrics/ Trims in house for timely production.
• Follow-up with factory for Production status and update Buyer timely manner.
• Crisis management for delivery between buyer and production team failure on T & A.
• Pre-Shipment-
• Get the vessel schedules from freight forwarder and work with production and commercial team to meet the cut off.
• Perform merchant inspection and coordinate with internal QA team on quality issues/concerns and performing final Inspections.
• POST-SHIPMENT-
• Coordinate with Logistic team to ensure all set of docs & Shipment notifications are passed to the buyer in time.
• Track the payment issues

Job Nature: Full-time

Educational Qualification: 

• Masters degree in any discipline
• Educational qualification may be relaxed for candidates with outstanding practical skills or capable to create new buyer.

Experience:  At least 15 year(s)

Job Location: Dhaka Division

Salary Range: Negotiable
