Job Description / Responsibility

• You will ensure our factories are maintaining compliance as per country's legislation and BRAND's requirements.
• Work with Brands and understand their compliance requirements, and ensure the requirements are made at our production facilities.
• Visit factories for initial assessment and do the gap analysis for BRAND'S requirement.  Make details assessments report with action plan and send to the factory for CAP at the same time communicate the update with brand and head office central sourcing team.
• Review Factory CAP with completion time line and conduct the follow up visit regular basis to ensure social compliance, building constructions/fire safety maintain.
• Clarify the requirements/standards with factories and communicate with brands.
• Ensure value added factories are maintain compliance standard and conduct follow up audit
• Communicate basic requirement of compliance updates to the sourcing, merchandising and QA department and ensure critical fire safety issues follow up daily basis through using full team.
• Monitoring entire supply base weekly basis to maintain the standard and conduct announce and unannounced follow up audit.
• Develop and work with potential factories to implement correct standard.
• Through training and guidance develop a strong team in Dhaka and CTG.
• Develop a consistent compliance guidelines for all supply base to follow up and maintain
• Cross functionally work with the merchandising and sourcing teams and garments/value added suppliers to manage business expectation and brands requirements.
• Input into supplier reviews of the existing supply base and report back to the Country Manager on risks and opportunities
• Adopts quick response and right first time principles and works with colleagues/suppliers to control the quality and lead time. Add value in different ways to the business.
• Understand the economic environment of Bangladesh and any influencing factors on delivery and capacity, convey them to head office in Scotland.
• Contribute to the Central sourcing initiatives with ideas and information’s.
• Adopts cost savings principles and works with head office and suppliers to control costs and add value in different ways
• Assist the Country Manager in collecting information required for supplier reviews

At least Graduate from a recognize university

• Understand the garments supplier capabilities to work with right suppliers
• To develop an excellent working partnership and understanding with your suppliers, Colleagues and Brands.
• Attend and prepare for all relevant key meetings with new suppliers and team.
• Provide monthly intelligence report and supplier update to head office on actual and potential rises and falls in garments industry.
• Knowledge on negotiation skill
• Able to maintain long term supplier relationship management
• Through training and guidance develop a strong dedicated team at factory end to follow up compliance standards.
