Hiring consultant to conduct study on Return on Investment (RoI) of improvement of WASH situation of garment factory workers in the factory and in their living place

WaterAid is a leading organisation that provides water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services to the poor and marginalised people and influence the government and development partners to be more responsive and pro-poor. Recognising the hydro-geological variation, WaterAid offers a range of context-specific water and sanitation technologies in Bangladesh.

Addressing WASH crisis among RMG workers at Narayanganj is a WaterAid project funded by a corporate donor for Readymade Garments (RMG) workers to improve their WASH situation in factories and communities. The project delivery will continue until December 2020 with a wrap up period until April 2021 to support work on the Sustainability pillar.

A key part of the project is to conduct financial Return on Investment (ROI) study of WASH interventions, a return on investment calculation on impact level indicators, for the factories aiming to prove the business benefits of WASH. This study will contribute to the Business Case for WASH, already developed based on little data on financial ROI of WASH interventions for factories. With the objective to conduct this study WaterAid Bangladesh thus intends to engage a competent consultant/ consulting firm as per this Request for Proposal.
