Job Context:
USHA- Unity for Social and Human Action is going to implement a project on violence against women and girls focused on early and forced marriage. The mentioned position will be recruited for implementing the project interventions.  

Job Description/Responsibility:

  • Ensuring proper implementation of the program in due time.
  • Designing, conducting and facilitating training, workshop, seminar, sharing meeting etc.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual work plan.
  • Making follow-up visit to the project areas in order to monitor program implementation and preparing feedback report.
  • Organizing monthly, quarterly and half yearly review meeting and preparing minutes.
  • Preparing quarterly and annual activity report.
  • Monitoring of Project Officers’ activities on a regular basis.
  • Making contact with USHA Dhaka office and contact person of donor organization.  
  • Keeping program related files, records and documents.
  • Making rapport with Govt. agencies, identifying opportunities in communication areas and undertaking awareness and advocacy related activities.
  • Conducting monthly staff meetings.
  • Supervising and monitoring of the project activities.
  • Ensuring utilization of budget effectively.
  • Ensuring adequate financial control, proper governing and monitoring to the expenditure of funds as per guideline.
  • Ensuring compliance of audit recommendations.
  • Coordinating with GOB and other NGOs to run smoothly project activities.
  • Attending monthly coordination meeting at DC Office/ UNO office.
  • Meeting donor Compliance as necessary
  • Performing any other duties/responsibilities assigned by the Executive Director.

Job Nature: Full-time  

Educational Requirements: MSS (Educational qualification may be relaxed for highly experienced candidates.) 

Experience Requirements: At least 6 years in similar job.

Job Requirements:

  • Expertise in addressing gender, VAW (prevention and protection of early and forced marriage; physical, mental, economic and sexual oppression; dowry etc.) and human rights at grassroots level;
  • Skills in conducting training on gender issues for LGEB members, social elites, community and grassroots people;
  • Good command in English and Bangla (both in written and spoken);
  • Sound knowledge in MS word, excel and internet;
  • Report writing skills in English and Bangla;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Gender sensitiveness; 
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet schedules.

Job Location: Tangail  

Salary: Tk. 43,259/-
