University Research Co., LLC (URC), a US-based public health consulting firm, through the TB CARE II Bangladesh Project, invites applications for the below vacant position in Bangladesh.  TB CARE II Bangladesh, Funded by USAID  is a 5-year (up to September 2015) technical assistance project that assists National Tuberculosis Control Programme (NTP), implementing partner NGOs, and other stakeholders to strengthen TB control and prevention activities in Bangladesh.

Office Assistant (1 position) - Office Assistant will provide support to the admin team in terms of logistical support and related activities of office management.

A higher secondary school certificates is the minimum is required.

Job Description:
The Office Assistant will provide general administrative and logistical support to the TB CARE II Bangladesh Project, implemented by URC and also other organizational support to URC. 
                               
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist admin department to deliver and receive letters/memo/circular to and from different stakeholders including USAID Dhaka office and NTP;
  • Provide support to the program team during the period of training/workshop conduction in terms of material distribution, logistical support;
  • Assist admin team in store keeping, inventory management and related record keeping;
  • Support to collect, distribute and facilitate the process of material printed by TB CARE II and other projects of URC;
  • Any other official tasks assigned;
