Manager, Merchandiser (Knit Garments)

Job Context : Candidate should have experience with Wal-Mart Buyer

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Conduct effective negotiation of costing with the buyer with the guidance of Top Management.
  • A sound command over world market competition regarding new style, fashion and price.
  • Should have excellent managerial capacity & capability to manage buyers & brands.
  • Follow-up of new product development in order to undertake new order.
  • Co-ordinates with production & planning department to implement his/her order in the lines.
  • Monitor regular booking/delivery of fabric, accessories and other related trims in accordance with shipment    schedule and commitment with buyer.

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum Graduation. Textile Background is most preferable.
  • Masters in any discipline with Diploma in Merchandising from BGMEA University of fashion & technology or any reputed institution.

Experience Requirements

  •  8 to 10 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Merchandising
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Knit Garments.

Job Requirements

  • Age 30 to 40 year(s)
  • Only males are allowed to apply.
  • Priority for those who were involved in dealing with Wal-Mart Buyer.
  • Priority for those who were involved both in factory and buying house merchandising operation.
  • Strong market knowledge in sourcing and buyer relations.
  • Strong negotiation & presentation skill.
  • Having mentality to work under pressure and long hours if required.

Job Location: Head Office

Salary Range: Negotiable based on experience
