We are now seeking to recruit a high caliber Senior Technical Manager (Garments) for our office in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This is an excellent opportunity with experience to take the next step in career in inspection. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the followings:

Job Responsibilities:

  • The role will be responsible for coordinating with factories, internal technical teams & would be driving daily operations.
  • Supervises the day-to-day delivery of high quality field services of Factory Inspection. Monitors daily productivity and quality of work and assist in allocating resources as required.
  • Supervises field services projects concurrently and ensures completion within time frames. Evaluates inspection services against established protocols; Makes technical decisions.
  • Works with the operations team to resolve customer issues on a regular basis. Identifies and resolves customer complaints and employee related performance issues.
  • Ensures the team’s understanding of and compliance with all established policies and requirements. Responsible for the team members’ development, performance and morale.
  • Manages the performance of the team. Manages the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance, and ensures that all policies are understood and adhered to.
  • Ensure the Inspectors receive necessary training and assistance to complete their responsibilities. Document and track the training of the inspectors and review the progress with them on a monthly basis, or as necessary.
  • Conduct audits and participate in recruitment of local staff as necessary.
  • Perform other position related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • The candidate must be qualified on Business Administration and should have at least 10 years of professional experience in textile technology including proven track record.
  • Ability to remain, objective and professional in challenging situations.
  • Ability to work in fast paced work environment both independently and in a group.
  • Ability to lead a team to improve the performance in quality and build productive capacity.
  • Candidate having an experience working for a US based MNC shall get Priority.
