We are now seeking to recruit a high caliber Consumer Inspection Team Leader for our office in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This is an excellent opportunity with experience to take the next step in career in testing. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the followings:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor inspectors’ performance in the factory by conducting announced and unannounced assessment.
  • Communications with inspectors: hold small-sized team meetings based on actual needs via phone, and Lync.
  • Report to Operations Supervisors on regular basis - providing weekly reports of the team performance, quality and other pertinent issues.
  • Act as a mentor to the new hires in the team, provide support and conduct field training.
  • Conduct field training and provide guidance in the field. Team Leaders should conduct field training at least once a quarter to their inspectors; and guide new hire in the field during their training period. Specific evaluation and tracking forms should be filled out for each inspector. Conduct / arrange field evaluations based on inspector competency guideline requirements.
  • Work with Operations Supervisor, to conduct classroom training, provide updates, emphasize client specific issues, and review inspection procedures with team members during regular team/individual meeting.
  • Conduct report reviews and provide feedback to inspectors on their strength and weaknesses of each report.
  • Coordinating with administration personnel and Operations Supervisors on trip related issues.
  • Provide feedback to Operations Supervisors to determine inspector performance.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years degree from any reputed university
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the country (up to 75% annually).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and fully proficient/literate in a 2nd language.
  • Excellent oral communication skills; capable of addressing high executive audiences and conduct opening and closing conferences in front of multiple people.
  • Excellent mathematical skills and analytical skills. Creative and innovative thinking to problem solve and streamline processes.
  • Honest, trustworthy and reliable – Able to maintain high ethical standards.
  • Ability to remain, objective and professional in challenging situations.
  • Ability to work in fast paced work environment both independently and in a group setting and to interact with all levels of staffs.
  • Ability to lead a team of auditors to monitor and improve the individual performance.
