United Engineering & Power Services Ltd (UEPSL) is one of the sister concerns of UNITED GROUP, offering exhaustive operation & maintenance solutions, troubleshooting services, spare parts & consumables supply & sourcing for all types of power generation machinery & equipment, specializing in world renowned brands like Wärtsilä, Rolls-Royce, MWM, MTU, Sperre, Atlas Copco etc.

UEPSL is providing one stop Operation & Maintenance Services to its five power plants located at CEPZ, DEPZ, Ashuganj and Sylhet. The company is now looking for a capable, energetic and proactive individuals to fill all the position listed below for its currently active power plants as well as all the several new upcoming ones (United Mymensingh Power Ltd.).

Manager / Deputy Manager (Mechanical Maintenance)

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in power plants.
• At least a 3-year experience as maintenance In-charge in any power plant.
• Experience in HFO power plant with Wartsila engines will be given preference.

Educational Qualifications

• B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from a public / recognized university.

                                    and/or

• B.Sc in Marine Engineering with at least 7 years’ of experience

                                    and/or

• Diploma in Marine Engineering with at least 10 years’ of experience

Major Responsibilities:

• Work as an In-charge of plant maintenance team. Train up subordinates regarding Machinery maintenance, trouble shootings and procedures.
• Assist Plant Manager for all types of Mechanical Maintenance by identifying failures, Troubleshooting and making adjustment. Assist on trial runs and testing of mechanical installations according to instruction.
• Ensure proper schedule maintenances and other of plant machineries carried out in time.
• Maintain proper documentation process for machinery maintenance.
• To develop and update maintenance procedures of mechanical equipments.
• Plan with the Plant Manager regarding upcoming maintenances and raise spare requisition for that.
• Ensure work place safety, procedure and checklist followed for any Mechanical job.
• Ensure proper Housekeeping of Engine Hall, Auxiliaries, workshop and surrounding area as well as Power Plant
• Follow company policy, security and cost effectiveness.
• Follow other jobs assigned by the management.

Age Limit: 30-40 years

• Able to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills
• Manage team members well
