Specialist – Marketing and Partnership Development

Job Purpose: To contribute to plan and implement the marketing and partnership development strategies of UCEP Bangladesh in line with its vision, mission and goals.

Job Location: Head Office

Responsibilities:

  • To contribute to develop (both in English and Bangla), upgrade and ensure implementation of marketing and partnership development strategies and guidelines of UCEP Bangladesh.
  • To develop, set and achieve annual target for fundraising and marketing following UCEP Bangladesh’s Business Plan, explore potential funding sources (government agencies, donors, CSR, private sectors, industries, foundations, charities, individuals etc.)  within the country and internationally, and provide timely and relevant information to the management and other relevant departments.
  • To identify marketing needs for UCEP Bangladesh and its programs, ensure availability and proper usage of necessary tools and materials from “Branding and Communication” team. 
  • To establish networking and linkages with relevant national and international agencies and organizations; develop, maintain and update partnership database and necessary communication with partners/stakeholders. 
  • To ensure that the marketing and partnership development strategies are followed accurately by the concerned departments/regions and ensure coordination and capacity development.
  • To conduct due diligence of partnerships using appropriate tools in coordination with relevant departments and provide guidance accordingly. 
  • To coordinate preparation and finalization of partnership concept notes/proposals, ensure timely approval of SMT and submission.
  • To represent UCEP Bangladesh in partnership development related negotiations, forums and meetings with relevant programs and departments with guidance from supervisor.
  • To coordinate with Finance & Accounts, Legal, HR and Admin Departments for statutory compliances of partnership management.
  • To draft contracts/ MoUs ensuring legal vetting for partnerships with inputs from all the concerned departments.
  • To contribute to organize signing ceremonies and news coverage of contracts / MoUs as required.
  • To develop, disseminate and follow up Project Management Guideline (PMG) with necessary inputs from concerned departments.
  • To contribute to organize various events for the purpose of building and maintaining partnerships.
  • To contribute to plan and efficiently utilize yearly budget for marketing and partnership development.
  • To coordinate and visit programs regularly for gaining insights on program deliverables.
  • To plan and host visits of current and prospective donors, partners and other stakeholders under the guidance from supervisor.
  • To carry out other relevant tasks assigned by the authority as and when required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Masters in Marketing/Business Administration.
  • 6 years of relevant professional experience including at least 2 years in marketing and partnership development role in a large organization. 
  • Excellent command of communication skills both in Bangla and English.
  • Excellent computer operating skill & conversant with MS Office package, social media management, relevant product development software, tools etc.
  • Demonstrated experience of successful marketing and partnership development for a large organization.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and team player.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently.
  • Age limit for the applicant would be 40 years. Management has the ability to make exceptions based on qualifications.
