Overview
ThinkWell is an emerging health systems development organization that is currently in a major growth phase. While our core area of work is health financing, we take a health systems approach that includes human resources for health, health information systems, private sector engagement, and research and evaluation. We are looking for a Network Expansion Advisor to provide business advisory and technical assistance as part of the USAID Bangladesh Advancing Universal Health Care (AUHC) project. This is a full-time position is based in Bangladesh AUHC project offices in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Within the AUHC project ThinkWell will lead the incubator unit which will provide strategic and technical support to the newly established Surjer Hashi (Smiling Sun) Network(SHN), a sustainable pro-poor social enterprise. The Network Expansion Advisor is responsible for strategic alliances and partnerships to offer added value services to the clients of SHN and accountable for business growth of SHN through a vibrant network. The candidate will report to management team member. (S)he will work with different teams of the incubator to develop and promote new revenue streams and attract additional resources by developing a vibrant network of market actors in delivering health services and related products.
Responsibilities
- Being a self- starter and taking the lead in developing partnership portfolio with business development plans, partners assessments, eco-system mapping and partnership agenda for all AUHC activities;
- Develop engagement, loyalty and retention strategy, plan roadmap with key activities, strategy development for partner engagement initiatives and campaign management in alignment with organization objectives;
- Lead to propose communication plan and co-ordinate with the relevant team to ensure regular 360 communication for new product/ services, program & partnership programs and campaigns;
- Analyze the performance of partnership programs & campaigns and share the findings and recommendations to management as when required;
- Develop ideas and guide team to identify new target base and propose eligibility criteria and engagement model & also new product/ service recommendation for expansion of AUCH network via partnership;
- Coordinate IT, Technical and other relevant internal and external teams to ensure systems capacity for partnership database, programs and campaigns;
- Review proposals from partnership agencies for new partners; evaluate the feasibility, market rapport and benefits to be gained from proposed partners;
- Manage and monitor partnership agency for smooth operations; manage the partnership and insurance agency for proper campaign executions;
- Plan and implement segment specific partnership programs and campaigns for Mass market customers along with multiple layers benefit programs;
- Has strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Can work in joint task force for quick delivery and manage a simple communication flow across functions.
- Has strong coordination and organizational skills.
- Has good experience in organizing events, campaigns and activations.
Qualifications
- The candidate will hold an advanced degree in business administration, marketing, finance, public health, or another relevant field;
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience, including managing franchise or distribution business, supply chain, partnership and business development.
- Experience in the leveraging of resources from the private and public sector, preferably within the health sector.
- Experience working with donors, governments, or NGOs in international development finance or a related field.
- Experience of living and working in a low \-income or lower-middle income country is highly desirable;
- Strong quantitative skills, proficiency in Stata or another statistics software is desirable;
- Fluent command of English and Bengali;
- Willingness to travel is essential.
