Job Title: Receptionist

Job Summary

Handling front office reception and administration duties, including greeting guests, answering phones, handling company inquiries, and sorting and distributing mail, schedule meetings and travel for employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and operate a switchboard.
  • Route calls to specific people.
  • Take and relay messages
  • Answer inquiries about company
  • Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable.
  • Call persons waiting for visitors and book them a room to meet in.
  • Schedule meetings and conference rooms.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy
  • Coordinate mail flow in and out of office
  • Coordinate office activities.
  • Handle phone calls from people calling in sick.
  • Gather personal information.
  • Hand out employee applications
  • Arrange appointments.
  • Give visitors badges and direct them to where they can sign in.
  • Send necessary mails and emails.
  • Collect and distribute parcels and other mail.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping, filing and clerical duties.
  • Prepare travel vouchers.
  • Update appointment calendars.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments.
  • Maintain security by following company procedure.

Skills Requirement:

  • Multitasking ability
  • Fluent both in English and Bangla
  • Professional and Customer service attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Awareness in computer security and office safety
  • Embody company’s ideal’s, both in behavior and appearance

Age Group: 25 to 30 years

Experience: At least 2 years experience in similar job.

Qualification: HSC/ A-Level / Equivalent.
