Job Specifications

(A) Category: Manager (Engg.)

(i) Name of Position: Manager (NSS):
Number of Position: 01

Experience requirement:

  • Candidate must have minimum required professional experience in Cellular Telecom Industry including at least 3 (Three) years’ experience in Network Sub-System in Mobile Telecom industry.  
  • Practical work experience in installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of MSC, Soft switch, MGW.
  • Strong knowledge in GSM, WCDMA, LTE network architecture, TCP/IP, different Signaling protocol such as SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP, MPLS etc.
  • Knowledge in distributed core network architecture, and Convergent Billing System.
  • Experience in vendor management, people management at work.
  • Ability to interpret different signaling message trace, troubleshooting of Voice and SMS flow,
  • Experience in LINUX/UNIX operating systems, familiarity with different KPI parameter of core and access network, different authentication procedures for 2G/3G, different charging and provisioning protocol.
  • Should have computer knowledge in Microsoft packages, proficiency in data base query language.
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operation and Maintenance of the systems under Network Switching System.
  • Routine Backup of System Files and Configuration Files under the incumbent’s domain.
  • Supervise Alarm Monitoring / Fault Management information and taking appropriate measures.
  • Monitoring Performance Management information and taking appropriate measures.
  • Generation of Faults/Alarms report and Performance report for the equipments under the incumbent’s domain.
  • Strict Compliance of Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Manage the administrative & disciplinary issues under his jurisdiction to run the concerned systems flawlessly.
  • Carry out system audit of the concerned Network to examine the performance with respect to set Key Performance Indicators and to verify that the system is performing as per the design criteria highlighting any issues observed for immediate corrective action.
  • Liaise with other departmental staff, external vendors and contractors on the timely completion and implementation of Core network upgrades and expansions.
  • Coordinate all activities with the Core network planning team, along with other departments and colleagues as required.
  •  Manage task assignment and ensure tasks are properly executed within reasonable timelines for Core Network Engineers.
  • Suggest new ideas and strategies based on latest technologies for the betterment of Teletalk.
  • Any other duty assigned by the authority.
(ii) Name of Position: Manager, Value Added Services (VAS)

Experience requirement:

  • Candidate must have minimum required professional experience in Cellular Telecom Industry including at least 3 (Three) years’ experience in Value Added Services (VAS) in Telecom industry.  

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and manage contents, develop new Value Added Services (SMS, IVR, MMS, USSD etc).
  • Analyzing Information, Problem Solving, Software Algorithm Design, Software Performance, Tuning, Software Design, Software Debugging, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Documentation, and Testing.
  • Tasks of communication, presentation, and reporting to various entities for business.
  • Candidate must have hands on working experiences in Unix/Linux OS installation & server configuration (RED HAT CERTIFIED preferred), PHP programming, C / C++ / C# programming, Mysql / Oracle database, JAVA script, SOAP/XML, CSS & Graphics and Computer Networking etc.
  • Perform any other relevant activities in the value chain of the company including management of associated resources.
  • Perform any task/ assignment instructed by the controlling officer to achieve the company’s objectives accordingly.

(i) Name of Position: Manager (Sales and Distribution):

Experience requirement:

Candidates must have minimum required experience in Cellular Telecommunications including at least 03 (Three) years’ work experience in sales and distribution in any reputed organization preferably in Mobile Telecom industry. Having hands on experience in software like ERP or SAP, warehousing, storage, retail or supply chain management will be added skills.

  • Management of inventory and supply chain related software.
  • Management of Dealer Management Software.
  • Assessment of annual sales.
  • Forecasting of growth.

(ii) Name of Position: Manager (Finance & Accounts):

Experience requirement:

Candidates must have minimum required experience in Cellular Telecommunications including at least 03 (Three) years’ related work experience, in any reputed organization preferably in Mobile Telecom industry. Having hands on experience in software like ERP or SAP will be added skill.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide a full financial Management & accounting service to the Company.
  • Communicate with financial institutions as and when required.
  • Guide financial team to present the standard financial report to the top management as when required.
  • Cost reduction, profitability analysis, and fund management, balance sheet, profit and loss accounting.
  • Prepare annual budget and forecasts aligned to strategic plans and in accordance with guidelines provided by the company.
  • Provide accounting services for use by managers in planning and controlling the work of the company including financial accounting, management accounting and control systems.
  • Guide the general accounting & financial accounting systems of the company
  • Commercial accounting and financial reporting according to IAS/IFRS.
  • Monitoring the project expenditure.
  • Preparation of project accounts.
  • Establish a standard accounting system & run a good procedure for increase efficiency.
  • Guide the company tax matter as well as personal tax.
  • Monitor the VAT accounting system with effective Control on VAT.
  • Implementation the cost accounting system with effective profit center.
  • Maintenance of CPF accounts, Gratuity Fund.
  • Management of payroll and welfare funds.
  • Presentation of financial statements and disclosures in accordance with IAS/IFRS.
  • Support the audit team.
  • Preparation of different MIS as and when required by management.
  • Perform any other relevant activities in the value chain of the company including management of associated resources.
  • Perform any task/ assignment instructed by the controlling officer to achieve the company’s objectives accordingly.

Educational qualifications:

For Engg:
B.Sc. Engg. or equivalent degree (Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Tele-Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Applied physics, Computer Science) from any recognized university with 10 (ten) years’ work experience in relevant field.

a. At least 2nd Class or equivalent CGPA in Graduation degree.
b. No 3rd Class or equivalent GPA/CGPA will be allowed in any stage.

For Non- Engg.:
Masters degree in concerned discipline (Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing) or other discipline relevant to job specifications from any recognized university with 10 (ten) years’ work experience in relevant field.
   
        a.   At least 2nd Class or equivalent CGPA in Masters Degree.
        b.   No 3rd Class or equivalent GPA/CGPA will be allowed in any stage.

Age Limit: Maximum 40 (forty) years as on 30 August, 2015.
