Job Context

Job Description / Responsibility
- Follow up activities from fabric booking to shipment
- Taking care of merchandising & production management, including sampling, fit & preproduction approvals, fabric & trim approvals, physical & chemical testing, work with QA team for timely inspection & delivery, update the buyer & the production status.
- Maintain communication with buyers.
- Prepare price quotation and cost sheet. Garment costing, corresponding & dealing with buyer from inquiry to shipment.
- Understand and follow up customer procedures for order execution
- Handle day-to-day merchandising operations. Follow-up and ensure timely approval of all samples
- Analyzed the market trends and buyer requirement and developed creative and innovative sample that differentiate our client’s product in the marketplace.
- Tracks development and production merchandising issues. Follow up of trims & fabric deliveries to make sure in house on time with good quality and quantities.
- Communicate with suppliers for fabric, trims & accessories booking and delivery. Sourcing of garment factory, fabric, trim, print, embroidery factory.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective customer service
- Liaise with technical team to ensure technical compliance of factory as per customers’ requirement
- Ensure proper and centralized planning of production to meet delivery deadline
- Liaise with quality department to ensure product quality
- Liaise with sample department to ensure timely production and supply of quality samples
- Guide Product Development (PD) team for development of product and costing and seasonal product design with coordination of sourcing and design team
- Assist the product development process to ensure that products meet customers' quality
- Ensure regular report generation and factory visit for its operational update
- Supervise and provide coaching, guidance, counseling and training to the teams
- Lead the teams to increase company profitability
- Follow up the fabric quality & test parameter by inspection according to buyer’s requirement Search & evaluate new & prospective suppliers.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers based on target price Identify technical problems, production and supply difficulties and deal with them as and when they occur.
- Make liaison with buyers and suppliers & confirming the quality aspects.
- Maintain L/C Documentation and Shipping.
- Retain and grow businesses with existing customers and acquire new customers.
Job Nature: Full Time
Educational Requirements:
- Masters degree in any discipline
- Textile graduate will be highly preferred.
Experience Requirements
- At least 4 year(s)

Additional Requirements
- Age Age 25 to 35 years
- Both males and females are allowed to apply

- Willing to travel factories on monthly basis/ whenever required.
