				Vacancy Announcement Finance Officer
				Terre des Hommes-Netherlands (TdH-NL) with supports from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Dhaka is implementing the project IMAGE (Initiatives for Married Adolescent Girls’ Empowerment) aims to ensure a life with dignity for early married girls in Bangladesh by improving their sexual reproductive health and rights over a period of two years - December 2014 to November 2016. Finance & Accounts of the project will be managed by the Finance & Programme Support (F&PS) Department of TdH-NL Bangladesh Country Office; currently have a vacancy for the position Finance Officer to work closely with the Head of F&PS, having strong work relationship with the Project Director of IMAGE. The position is based in Dhaka with approximately 30% time to travel in project areas. Competent and confident incumbent who is interested to take challenges of following responsibilities are invited to apply: Responsibilities: Financial transactions & operations including accounting software update & maintenance. Ensure compliance of financial policies & procedures. Budget preparation, monitoring and analysis. Financial reporting includes yearly closing and audit. Capacity Building of PNGO financial personnel and Field-level implementation support. Assist in procurement, other programme support activities includes HR management, logistic & administrative support. Experiences & Competencies: Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance with at least 4 years experience in financial services. Working experience with donor supported development projects in INGOs will have added advantage. Computer proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and other financial Software, word processing; Email; data management. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Highly proficient in using ICT.
