Storekeepers, Maintenance assistant, Office Assistant, Driver, Caretaker, Guards

Main responsibilities:

Primary responsible for purchase processes and supplies deliveries in Kurigram project area

Supervises storekeeping conditions

3

Assets management

4

Supervises the maintenance of premises and equipments

5

Manages the vehicle and motorbikes fleet (movements and maintenance)

 

Duties  

1. Purchase processes and delivery of supplies in Kurigram area

 1.1 prepares the bid analysis

1.2 participates to Purchase Committee meetings and decisions

1.3 Prepares purchase orders

1.4 keeps vendors database up-to-date

1.5 contacts alternative suppliers if first failed

1.6 issuing way bills for delivery / dispatch of supplies in Kurigram project areas

2. Supervises storekeeping conditions

2.1 Controls the work of the storekeepers (in and out movements, proper store maintenance)

2.2 Controls the quality / reliability of records (registers, stock cards, etc..)

2.3 validates the requisitions requests

2.4 controls the stock inventories

3. Assets management

3.1 keeps assets register up-to-date

3.2 makes regular assets inventories

3.3 implements the disposal of assets after decision by committee

3.4 supervises proper assets codification

4. maintenance of premises  and equipments

4.1 assesses and validates the maintenance requests

4.2 controls the effectiveness and the quality of repairs and maintenance

5. Manages the vehicle and motorbikes fleet (movements and maintenance)

5.1 organizing vehicle movements / planning

5.2 controlling logbooks entries and fuel consumption (vehicle + motorbikes)

5.3 issue fuel slips to staff

5.4 verifying bills from the fuel station

5.5 collecting maintenance needs of vehicle and motorcycles fleet

5.6 keeping vehicles register (historical data)

5.7 keeping vehicles legal documents up-to-date and properly filed

6. Security

6.1  Support and advice to Admin-Log Manager

6.2  Manage security force to oversee security and safety of the life and premises

6.3  Ensure security escort of the foreign nationals in mission

Reporting

Provide monthly report on current month’s activities and plans for coming month to the Administration and Logistic Manager

Internal coordination

Take an active part to admin/log/finance team coordination meetings

 

Required Professional Skills and Competencies:

 

Educational:
Masters of Commerce/ Management/ Logistics/Arts/ Science/Business Administration

 

Experience Requirements:
Minimum 3 years working experience in General Administration, Logistics, Procurement with international voluntary organization (INGO).

Other skills:

  • Essential English as working language
  • Essential computer literacy (word, excel, internet and in inventory software)
  • Bengali typing
  • Motorcycle driving
