- Implementing marketing plan and take corrective action as per market feedback;
- Study client requirements, gather and manage the requirements, and finally assure that the requirements are met in collaboration with the project manager;
- The business analyst is also supposed to assist the project manager in change management;
- Needs to have the ability to assemble, analyze and evaluate data and to be able to make appropriate and well-reasoned recommendations and decisions to support the Business stakeholders and the Project team.
- The Business Analyst should also be able to analyze the feasibility of requirements in terms of efforts, inputs, time, and costs. Identify and resolve issues;
- Should be able to recognize, analyze and map processes, model and improve business process and anticipate future state;
- Have the prime responsibility for articulating business requirements for technology change in the Exchange and agreeing an appropriate solution, also help set the technology framework within which the Exchange realizes its business initiatives;
- Study the overall business and information needs of an organization in order to develop appropriate solution strategies. As the key liaison between business and information technology departments, the business analyst is responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into functional system design specifications that can be successfully executed by IT development teams;
- Responsible for identifying the business needs of their clients and stakeholders (the Directors, vendors, employees, and customers) to help determine solutions to business problems;
- Discloses, analyzes, validates and documents business, organizational and operational requirements;
- Solutions are not predetermined by the Business Analyst, but are driven solely by the requirements of the business. Solutions often include a systems development component, but may also consist of process improvement or organizational change.;
- The Business Analyst can have a significant impact on development costs and help the business minimize project delays;
- M.Sc/ B.Sc in Computer Science/ Computer Science Engineering. Educational Background may be relaxed based on experiences & qualification;
- Minimum 3 years experience as Business Analyst.;
- A business analyst serves as a liaison between developers and users, clients and companies, and management and IT. Finding the balance between individual wants and business needs, and then interacting with a variety of personality types toward a solution that works for the business, takes outstanding persuasion skills. When competing for client projects, a business analyst's negotiation skills come into frequent use, with the goal of achieving a profitable outcome for the company and a working solution for the client. Maintaining relationships within an organization and with external partners is an important function of a business analyst, requiring strong negotiation and persuasion skills;
- Outstanding analytical skills so that a customer's business needs are properly interpreted and translated into application and operational requirements.;
- A major aspect of the job is analyzing data, documents, user input surveys and workflow to determine which course of action will correct the business problem.;
- Strong analytical skills are crucial in performing the business analyst's job successfully;
