We are seeking an energetic, visionary and engaged individual to join with us as Project Director to work for our energy resources development company with major investments throughout the energy supply chain - LNG receiving terminals, upstream oil & gas developments, potential power plants and gas transmission networks.

The role will initially be based in Bangladesh.
 
The Role

• Overall responsibility for safe on time completion of off-shore LNG terminal and associated facilities including sub-sea pipeline, metering station etc.
• Leadership and performance of the Project Technical Team
• Engage with core members ensuring on time completion of all tasks.
• Recruitment of resources to support technical organization during project
• Establish Project Plans / Schedules and Milestones that underpin project deliverables
• Liaise and coordinate with EPC contractor during site activities
• Lead the Project Technical Team during Engineering Concept, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Site Construction
• Manage and implement safe systems of work
• Commissioning and Start Up of plant and equipment
• Timely intervention and reporting of issues and risks to Managing Director & the Board.

Qualifications and Experience

• Senior engineer with experience in LNG projects and Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Construction Engineering and preferably with reasonable years of experience in Project Management
• LNG industry related degree / Diploma will be an added advantage
• Extensive Technical Management experience within the Oil & Gas industry
• Leadership of a multi-disciplined organization including: Marine - Engineering - Civil - Construction Operations
• Development of a Greenfield Site through all phases to final completion
• Leadership of a multi-cultural and diverse organization across various locations
• Highly experienced planning, scheduling and execution of activities
• Managing risks and mitigation measures
• Establishing a high performance safety culture across the organization
• Reporting and communication of progress at a board level
• Facilitating and progressing the project with external stakeholders
