Summit Communications Limited (a concern of Summit Group) operating its operation with three telecommunication license (NTTN, IIG & ITC). Currently it has developed State-of-the-art optical fiber transmission network all around the country and continuously expanding its network by suing NTTN license. It is also providing International Internet Gateway (IIG) and International Terrestrial Cable (ITC) services to the all ANS operators of the country.

Job Title: Assistant Engineer

Department: International Internet gateway (IIG)

No of Vacancies: 02

Job Description / Responsibility:

• Monitoring the Gateway networks (IP & SDH)
  
• Basic configuration of core devices (Router, Switch, MUX etc).
  
• Communication with Clients and upstream operators.
• Monitoring routing platform status (Static, BGP or OSPF).
  
• Observing day to day device health and environmental condition.
  
• Responsible for regular technical reporting & documentation.
  
• Maintaining all required database.
  
• Troubleshooting client point-to-point links and physical or logical performance status.

Requirements:

• Graduation from well reputed university in CSE/ EEE/ ETE/ ECE.
  
• 1-2 years relevant experience
  
• Having experience of existing operators will be added advantages.
  
• Vendor certification will be referred (CISCO and Juniper)
  
• Must be self-motivated, good communication skills, hardworking and career oriented.
