Project Officer Case Management (3) – Cox’s Bazar (Field Based) Bangladesh

The role

Project Officer Case Management will be responsible for supporting Save the Children’s child protection case management activities in  specific areas within the Rohingya Refugee Response. The Project Officer Case Management will provide supervision and coaching on the identification, assessment, documentation, case planning, service provision and referral (to relevant services) to the case workers; he/she will also provide technical support on complex child protection cases, monitor ongoing activities, maintain a collaborative relationship with other organizations and service providers at the field level along with coordinating with other agencies offering case management services to children. S/he will  be also be responsible for supporting Save the Children’s family tracing and reunification (FTR) and alternative care activities in specific locations.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor Degree in social work, social anthropology, or another relevant discipline.
  • At least 3 years’ experience within a development organization and at least 1 year experience in the field of child protection
  • Knowledge on child protection and emergency response
  • Experience in managing field staff
  • Have Problem solving and decision making skill
  • Excellent Oral & Written communication skills both in Bengali and English
  • Have decent knowledge on MS office 

Contract length: 06 months, possibility of extension depending on availability of funding and performance
