Senior Program Support Officer, Suchana
Job nature: Regular
Job location: Dhaka

Responsibilities:

  • This position is mainly responsible for providing high quality secretarial support e.g. administrative, logistical, communication and ensure day-to-day general support function of the Suchana team in Dhaka.
  • Responsibilities include, s/he will be providing multiple tasking support and initiatives simultaneously; establishing and maintaining office systems; providing program backstopping and overseeing external communications.
  • She will also organize and manage different events (e.g. meetings, training, workshop etc.), prepare budget, manage staff travel including international visitors, maintain calendar and maintain excellent working relationships with various departments/units and field offices within SC and consortium partners.

Requirement:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in logistics & admin, preferably in providing program support in NGOs. S/he is expected to have ability to deal multiple tasks simultaneously, excellent understanding on office administration, logistics and secretarial functions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, experience in organizing training events /workshops/ meetings/ seminars, good in budget preparation and proficiency in MS Office and ability to type in Bangla using Bijoy software.
  • Master’s Degree, preferably in Social Sciences/ Management or relevant discipline.
