Save the Children invites applications for the following positions under an urgent response program to recent Rohingya Crisis in Bangladesh. We are working in different locations in Cox’s Bazar, providing vital services to displaced Rohingya peoples, including distributing the food, shelter, water & sanitation, education, health, nutrition, and child protection needs of the Rohingya refugees, particularly of the children.

Administrative Assistant

Number of position: 1
Job Nature: Contractual
Contract Duration: 6 months, possibility of extension depending on availability of funding and performance
Job Location: Dhaka


Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Support Services team in the fulfilment of all administrative requirements for Save the Children’s Rohingya Response in Cox Bazar in accordance with SCI policies and practices. S/He will facilitate travel arrangements- accommodation and ticketing for international staffs and authenticates documents as required. S/He will

  • Responsible for all accommodation and ticket booking for incoming international staff and existing international staff,  Visitors when required
  • Maintaining an up to date list of requirements for accommodation and ticket booking
  • Invoicing of hotel, accommodation and ticketing
  • Keep updated information of vendors for accommodation and ticketing
  • maintaining records of international staff accommodation and ticketing invoice ensuring there is an up-to-date record tracking for International Staff
  • Book and follow up on issuing air tickets and accommodation arrangements for incoming staff
  • Ensure timely procurement of domestic air tickets and bill are processed in time
  • Maintain and coordinate the schedule of high profile visits with RR office


  • Minimum 2-3 years’ of experience in similar role with INGOs/UN agencies.
  • For effectively carrying out this role s/He should have the ability of Multi-tasking.
  • Excellent communication skill and problem solving abilities. 
  • Excellent networking skill with different stakeholders like non-government and government office.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Bachelor Degree in relevant field or Graduate in Secondary School Certificate (HSC).
