Save the Children invites applications for the following positions under an urgent response program to recent Rohingya Crisis in Bangladesh. We are working in different locations in Cox’s Bazar, providing vital services to displaced Rohingya peoples, including distributing the food, shelter, water & sanitation, education, health, nutrition, and child protection needs of the Rohingya refugees, particularly of the children.

Administrative Officer

Number of position: 1
Job Nature: Contractual
Contract Duration: 6 months, possibility of extension depending on availability of funding and performance
Job Location: Cox’s Bazar

Responsibilities:

Administrative Officer will be responsible for supporting the Support Services team in the fulfilment of all administrative requirements for Save the Children’s Rohingya Response in Cox Bazar in accordance with SCI policies and practices. S/He will facilitate visa processing, visa renews for international staffs and authenticates the documents as required. In addition the position will support with processing of TAR and other travel and accommodation arrangements for incoming International Staff. S/He will

  • Responsible for processing of all visas for incoming international staff and existing international staff,  Visitors, and National staff when required
  • Maintain updated information for all visa related required document of different country & provide guidance to the staffs accordingly.
  • Keep records of international staff’s visa copies, visa expiry date, accommodation information  and ensure that this are updated time to time
  • Process and Raise online Travel authorization Form for incoming International Staff
  • Book and follow up on issuing  air tickets and accommodation arrangements for incoming staff
  • Design and develop efficient travel authorization procedures
  • Constantly monitor travel agents service quality and pricing.
  • Ensure timely procurement of domestic air tickets and bill are processed in time
  • Maintain a collaborative relationship with all internal and external transport and travel service provider to ensure their service in timely manner
  • Be the focal point for all internal flight booking, accommodation and facilitate processes
  • Manage and update the deployment and high profile visit for Rohingya Response

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years’ of experience in similar role with INGOs/UN agencies.
  • For effectively carrying out this role s/He should have the ability of Multi-tasking.
  • Excellent communication skill and problem solving abilities. 
  • Excellent networking skill with different stakeholders like non-government and government office.
  • Good command over English language especially in speaking & writing.
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, management, Economics or related field.
  • Certificate/Diploma in in related field preferred
