The role

The Assistant Officer is responsible to ensure smooth and effective procurement activities and to support program staff on appropriate and sufficient procurement implementation in SCI-Cox's Bazar Office in compliance with Save the Children International's procurement/logistic and administration standard. She/he will be responsible for the management of administrative matters as well.

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in development sector;
  • Bachelor Degree, preferably in Business Administration/Business Studies or relevant field;
  • Sound knowledge on standard procurement and logistics procedure and proper documentation;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work under pressure and minimum supervision;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Problem solving and decision making, Applying technical and professional expertise;
  • Demonstrated awareness and sensitivity to gender and diversity;
  • Excellent communication skills, Creative, honest, responsible, flexible and adaptable with different circumstances.

Contract length: 06 months with possibility of extension depending on satisfactory performance and availability of funding.

Job Location: Ukhiya/Teknaf/cox’s Bazar
