The role

The Fleet Supervisor’s role is to manage fleet operations proactively, ensure that the rental Vendors are in line with the SCI Fleet regulations and also act as the line manager for the coordinator, Transport officer, Drivers and focal Point for the Transport Operations.

S/he will manage the planning and allocation of vehicles, service contracts, Log-sheet etc. S/he is responsible to ensure required trainings of the drivers and staff under his/her supervision. S/he will work with other sectors and ensure that services are rendered in accordance with Save the Children policies and guidelines.

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in supply chain, operations management or other related field;
  • At least 5 years’ relevant work experience in the similar level;
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills;
  • Must possess a valid Bangladeshi Professional Driver’s License;
  • Familiar with the routs and road condition in Cox Bazar and surrounding is an advantage;
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Strong understanding of compliance and risk Management;
  • Attention to details;
  • Ability to make Decisions under pressure without guidance;
  • Good communication skill in Bangla & English;
  • Experience and proficiency in data collection & management;
  • Good command on MS Office particularly in MS word and Excel;
  • Ability to communicate in Chittagonian and/or Arakanese dialect is an added advantage;
  • Previous experience with NGO is preferred;

Contract length: 06 months with possibility of extension depending on satisfactory performance and availability of funding.
