The role

Deputy Manager– Health Post will lead the medical team in one of Save the Children’s clinics in the camp settlements. S/he will be responsible for the quality implementation of the Essential Service Package (ESP) of the MoHWF and WHO. S/he will ensure that all consultations with patients are in a dignified and appropriate manner, patients’ record and clinical registers are completed and to ensure the use of established reporting formats for data collection, analysis and report on daily & weekly activities to the Clinical Supervisor as required and to follow notifiable disease protocols as directed by the Clinical Supervisor. S/he will Engage Save the Children’s other sectors working within the health post catchment to ensure internal referral mechanisms are in place and regularly reviewed and support in capacity building and training of junior health, nutrition and community staff to ensure quality services.

Qualifications and experience

  • Medical Graduate (MBBS)
  • Minimum 01 years’ experience in rendering health & nutrition services
  • Experience in managing clinical and non-clinical teams
  • Experience in the leading the daily operations of a clinic
  • Excellent interpersonal skill
  • Motivation to work in the field areas
  • Problem solving and decision making
  • Proficiency on computer using, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook etc

Contract length: 06 months with possibility of extension depending on satisfactory performance and availability of funding.

Job Location: Ukhiya/Tekna/Cox’s Bazar
