The role

This is a Cox’s Bazar base position responsible for providing efficient secretarial, administrative and operation support to the Blanket and Targeted Supplementary Feeding Program (BSFP and TSFP). This position is designed to perform the logistics management including receive and dispatch of commodities. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining office systems, project backstopping, events management, staff travel and calendars. PSO will assist to designate officials/teams for conducting routine physical inventory of commodity and reporting as well.

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in relevant field;
  • At least 3 years working experience in relevant field;
  • Excellent Computer skill (MS word, Excel, Power point);
  • Ability to work in a team, capable to work under pressure and be able to work in a sensitive manner;
  • Working with trustworthiness and integrity and has a clear commitment to Save the Children’s core values and humanitarian principles;
  • Ability to work under extreme circumstances, including stress, high security risks and harsh living conditions. Works and lives with a flexible, adaptable and resilient manner;
  • Demonstrated awareness and sensitivity to gender and diversity;
  • Excellent communication skills in cross-cultural contexts.

Contract length: 06 months with possibility of extension depending on satisfactory performance and availability of funding.
