Officer – Quality, Compliance & Reporting, Procurement & Supply Chain

The role

The Officer, Quality, Compliance & Reporting – Procurement & Supply Chain is responsible for supporting the Deputy Manager – Quality, Compliance & Reporting in carrying out quality assurance activities related to procurement and supply chain for Save the Children in Bangladesh. He is also responsible for providing necessary support in performing the compliance assurance and reporting activities.  The job responsibility includes receiving and quality checking of incoming goods, preparing quality clearance documents and preserving the documents, visiting field offices regarding quality related issues, handling quality related complaints and periodic reporting. S/he will collect samples and send to appropriate Laboratory for testing as per instruction of management. S/he will assist in procurement compliance monitoring and preparing reports. S/he will follow and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures of Save the Children.

Qualifications and experience

  • At least 3 years of working experience in procurement and/or supply chain
  • Excellent knowledge on Procurement process and supply chain
  • Sound understanding of Compliance Monitoring and Reporting of procurement/supply chain
  • Experience to work in quality control/quality assurance field
  • Experience working with international NGOs preferable
  • Certificates/Diploma in Quality Control/Assurance and P&SC will be given preference
  • B.Sc. in Engineering or Pharmacy or similar science discipline
