Deputy Manager - Partnerships

The role

The Deputy Manager - Partnerships is one of the key positions working together with stakeholders and partners across the country program to support the successful implementation of the Partnership principle and workflow movement wide. S/he will play a supportive role in reinforcement of identify, engage and strengthen partnerships to achieve positive change for children, with particular emphasis on the most deprived and marginalized. S/he will work across any partnership types in line with the partnership principles and procedures. Responsibilities include, s/he will coordinate and ensure follow up on Partner Feedback Survey, including compiling findings and following up internally and with partners, manage all partnership processes and oversee the partner implementation cycle from proposal, budgeting, kick off, reporting, monitoring and evaluation, and close out. The Deputy Manager will also provide support, guide, and oversee a full menu of capacity assessment and building support for partners.

Qualifications and experience

  • At least 5 years working experience in development field, with at least 2 years’ experience in partnership based programming
  • Demonstrated experience in database management, partnership, capacity building and monitoring & knowledge management.
  • S/he is expected to have sufficient knowledge about core elements of approach to work in partnerships
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and Bangla,
  • Excellent training/facilitation, negotiation and networking skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with supporting organizational capacity strengthening processes
  • Ability to build good relationships with internal functions, including Awards and Programme Operations
  • Master Degree, preferably in any subject of Social Science (Anthropology/Development Studies or related field)
  • Should have the willingness to visit field areas
  • Proficiency in MS Office package
