The role
The WASH Information management officer ensures the proper record and management of the data and information in relation with WASH activities including beneficiaries, GPS of facilities. S/He need to coordinate with the relevant external stakeholders like CIC, Area/ Camp focal agencies and document the secondary WASH information. Beside WASH field team s/he need to establish and maintain working relationship with SCI internal team particularly MEAL, supply chain, media & communication and field management. S/He is also responsible to prepare maps, analysis data to have better presentable outputs of the WASH activities.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor degree in Project management, Information management, Engineering, Public Health, or related subject
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience on WASH Information/data handling, analysis and generate findings.
  • Knowledge and experience on preparation of maps
  • Skilled on using MS Excel, Word, Power point presentation, photo editing and other relevant data analysis tools and software like online GIS, SPSS etc
  • Practical experience on WASH project/components, coordination and collecting WASH information from field on emergency context is required.
  • Experience on KOBO tools
  • Strong team building skills
  • Willing to travel to field and perform assigned task.
  • Ability to work effectively and calmly in a high-pressure environment and to prioritize and effectively manage assignments in a timely fashion

Contract length: 03 months, high possibility of extension depending on availability of funding and performance
