The role
Project support officer will provide support in the day to day activities for Primary Health Care Center (PHCC) to enable it functional for 24 hours. S/he will assist to set up of PHCC and health post staff accommodation/housing/transport, support in national recruitment, budget holder to effectively manage budgets on a timely basis with proper cash flow plan & spend tracking system. S/he will also support and assist in ad hoc procurement and other administrative requirement having a positive relationship with all the internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and experience

  • Graduate of management, accounting or human resource or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years’ experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • A very flexible approach to work
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and to respond to requests and demands with speed and precision
  • Ability to solve problems and work under own initiative and see tasks through to completion
  • An understanding of team work and the willingness to be an active and supportive member of the team
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to deal with others tactfully and effectively over the telephone, in writing and in person
  • Excellent computer literacy, including fast and accurate word processing, good presentation skills and use of e-mail and electronic diaries
  • Demonstrative administrative and general office experience, including knowledge and experience of developing administrative systems, databases and experience of arranging overseas travel
  • An awareness of the challenges of distance support and the ability to work in a collaborative and participatory way with colleagues

Contract length: 06 months, possibility of extension depending on availability of funding and performance
