Senior Officer - M&E and Documentation, ICHW

The role

The Senior Officer- M&E and Documentation will be responsible to maintain database, analyse and prepare reports routinely within stipulated timeline. S/he will closely work with partners and consultants and provide assistance to develop and disseminate ICHW documentation work including operation research. Responsibilities include, s/he will assist in planning, designing and implementing an effective M&E system for the project, and ensure timely submission of quarterly and annual MIS reports. The Senior Officer will collect related information from district and national level and prepare routine reports, provide technical assistance to the implementing partners. S/he will also develop case studies with support from field based team and ensure a high level of visibility of the project activities by widely disseminating the projects communication products to GOB, Donors, Media, DPs etc.

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in maternal, new-born and child health.
  • Experiences in working in partnership with MOH&FW, USAID and NGOs would be given preference.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience on basic statistics and research methodology, MIS and report writing
  • Relevant software proficiency, particularly in SPSS/Excel
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Bangla
  • Master’s degree, preferably in Information Management/Statistics/Development Studies/Public Health/Social Science
