Child Safeguarding Case Management Coordinator (1), Rohingya Response

The role:
Under the direct supervision of the Child Safeguarding Manager, the position will act as the Child Safeguarding case management focal point. S/he will prepare all Child Safeguarding related report by maintaining confidentiality and standard as well as ensure it’s proper documentation and dissemination. S/he will also be responsible for maintaining all the logs, records and documents related to Child Safeguarding Investigations. S/he will also coordinate with all the sectors regarding the actions/recommendations/investigations related to any Child Safeguarding issues and share the report with line manager. Other responsibilities include follow up and support the investigation team related to Child Safeguarding cases; capacity building of SCI and partner staffs regarding investigation process and support CS manager to strengthen the practice of Child Safeguarding throughout the Rohingya Response program.

Qualifications and experience:

  • At least 4 years’ demonstrated experience of working in child protection/child safeguarding in development sector as well as strong skills of case management for most vulnerable children 
  • S/he is expected to have sound understanding on Child Safeguarding along with experience of dealing complex disciplinary investigations related to child safeguarding.
  • Ability to work under pressure; be flexible in challenging situation; excellent interpersonal and communication skill both in English and Bangla; Excellent report writing skills are other pre requisites.
  • Master’s Degree preferably in Social Sciences or relevant discipline
  • Considering the relevant experience and familiarity with local context education may relaxed. 

Contract length: 06 months with possibilities of extension
