Project Officer Knowledge Management, Proyash Phase II Project

The role

The Project Officer-Knowledge Management will be responsible to develop and roll out knowledge management framework for the C&A funded urban resilience project titled as Proyash II. S/he will provide technical support to the implementing partners to capture learnings from the field. The Project Officer will also play a key role to support the Deputy Manager-MEAL in triangulating the monitoring, narrative and financial reports of the partners and provide support to the project management in developing reports and facilitating timely implementation of project interventions. S/he will be responsible to keep all the project related documents, records and data ready to deliver as and when reuired. In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

Qualifications and experience

  • At least 3 years working experience in development field, preferably with 2 years’ experience in knowledge management in the social development or corporate sectors.
  • Sufficient knowledge on audio-visual documentation,
  • Excellent understanding on the social development sector of Bangladesh
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and Bangla.
  • Should be capable of displaying great learning ability, support and encouragement of knowledge sharing across the projects,
  • Ability to travel to the field for 50% of his/her working time.
  • Bachelor Degree, preferably in English Literature / Education/ Social Sciences / or relevant discipline.
  • English Medium background candidate will be preferred.
